Juneau-based EBOT student Khalil English presented on his experience of learning about and cultivating tséit, Pacific silverweed, and Meda DeWitt in her role as Lingít plant specialist shared her experience of growing k’únts, the famous Lingít potato. The plant portraits were presented in a brief exploration of Indigenous gardening as a cultural practice that is generally under-documented or misrepresented.
