Alaska Ethnobotany

EBOT summer courses 2022

This summer, we are fortunate to be able to offer two tracks of our flagship introductory course, EBOT 100; a fully online delivered option and a course consisting of four week online instruction complemented by a five-day field course in Bethel, AK.

In addition, students enrolled in any EBOT degreewill need to take BIOL 190 Intro to the Flora of Alaska. The fully online delivered course was added to our core course requirements as it provides a solid foundation for plant identification, no matter where students live!

ENVI 150 Plant Ecology I: Experiment Gardens in SW Alaska was taught by BBC faculty Eric Goddard; ENVI 150 Plant Ecology II will be taught in person by EBOT faculty Lisa Strecker in Dillingham, June 21-24.
